I’m expecting the ritualistic hedonism of traditional reality programs, but with an occult flair. ANIMAL New York writes:
Freemasons have always had a bit of an image problem. Apparently, a clandestine fraternal order that counts world leaders among its ranks and which engages in secret occult rituals makes everyday people suspicious. So, over the past few decades, Masonic organizations have tried to change the public’s perception of their mysterious group.
Adding to this collective PR effort is a new 26 episode TV series called Freemasons: The Inside Story. It will profile masons in Victoria, Australia and promises that watchers will “gain unprecedented access into the truth about Freemasonry. Its people, its purpose and its past.” But with the majority of its members unaware of the more esoteric manifestations of the all-boys club, don’t expect any ‘Da Vinci Code’-like revelations.

We all remember the well known fable told by the ancient Greek slave and storyteller, Aesop, about the shepherd boy drafted to keep watch over a flock of sheep, and who, out of boredom, decided it would be great fun to fool the nearby villagers by pretending that a wolf was attacking the sheep. After the villagers rushed out to save the sheep a number of times based upon the boys fabrications they refused to believe him when the wolf actually did show up and began to consume the sheep. The obvious declared moral of the story is generally expressed as “There is no believing a liar, even when he is telling the truth.” However, there is, I submit, a second, unstated moral to the story as well. In spite of the shepherd boys prevarications the wolf was real. And the wolf did, in the end, show up to devour the poor sheep.
This has all the makings of a Dan Brown novel…
A curious enciphered manuscript was discovered in an East German library in 1970 and eluded all attempts at decipherment. The document was forgotten until it fell into the hands of a private collector and recently came to the knowledge of an international team of academics from the U.S. and Sweden. In April 2011 the “Copiale Cipher” was broken, studied, and released to the public six months later. It contained rituals that caused a great deal of excitement in the mainstream press. Due to translation errors, the press missed an opportunity to arouse public interest with another mysterious topic that often grabs headlines: the Cipher protected an 18th-century German Masonic ritual.
“The practice of Sacred Geometry opens to the mind’s eye an analog of alternate worlds, higher dimensions representing the ultimate creative process and an unfolding evolution from Unity to multiplicity, and it demonstrates the fact that this unfolding on a cosmic scale is governed by the laws and relations of geometry.”

“Ante omnia Punctum exstitit…”
“Before all things were, there was a Point.”
Anonymous, 18th century ‘Le Mystere de la Croix’
Sacred Geometry, to be fully appreciated and experienced, must be undertaken as a contemplative, or meditative exercise. From the initial act of putting pencil or compass point to paper each act of geometry is charged with meaning.
This one just won’t go away, will it? S’pose it must be true.

“We want sanitary food / Planetary conquest / Thug peoples on some hard cold body shit / Get your shit together before the fuckin’ Illuminati hit…” – U-God, “Impossible”
As a young Hip Hop head, I vividly remember the first time I heard some of my favorite emcees begin to throw out theories about Freemasonry, Illuminati and a New World Order. It was a 1995 article on Wu-Tang Clan from the June/July issue of Vibe. In addition to the normal interaction between Clan members, the following exchange between Raekwon, U-God and Ghostface Killah caught my attention:
Raekwon: “Were just building and keepin’ shit together, you know? This is Born Power hour. The Clan got shit locked down for the next five years. Right now, we’re preparing for the Illuminati 2000, which is the Masons’ plan for New World Order.
