Bring me the head of John the Baptist… substitute accepted. Hikers in New Tilden Park in Oakland, CA. made a gruesome discovery: A human skull on a paper plate.

“Cubes” of human flesh floating about in the sewer trigger about a thousand fears, and a possible serial killer is just one of them. (“We all float down here, Georgie.”)

Fears of a serial killer on the loose in Michigan mounted after cops found cubes of human flesh in a drain pipe that bear disturbing similarities to remains discovered in another pipe last August.
A sanitation crew first spotted the 4-inch-by-4-inch pieces of “skin and fat and little bit of muscle tissue” in a sewer pipe outside Detroit, in Warren, Mich., police told ABC News.
The two cubes of flesh appear to closely match those discovered earlier this year, which were found about 5 miles away in a sewer in Sterling Heights.
Police said that those chunks, 10 in total, which bore an intricate tattoo, belonged to a white woman with a large build, CBS News reported.
My personal opinion is that it’s important in life to remind yourself that some things are not funny even if they might make you laugh. GREELEY, Colo. — Firefighters in Colorado say a woman’s belly button ring became entangled with a drain cover in a shallow splash pool but that she was freed without injury.
Authorities say the woman became stuck Wednesday as she floated on her stomach with her child in a shallow pool at the Greeley Family Funplex.
Firefighters tried to turn the ring to free her but then started to drain the pool while working to manipulate the ring.
They said Thursday that she eventually was freed and she wasn’t hurt in the process.

Los Angeles chef David Veins is currently on trial for the particularly gruesome murder of his wife, Dawn. In a confession to police, Veins said that after asphyxiating Dawn with duct tape, he deposited her body in a 55-gallon drum of boiling water and slowly cooked her body over the course of four days. Afterwards, he disposed of all of her remains but her skull. This, he hid at his mother’s house. Why did he do it? If Veins knows, he’s not telling:
Sgt. Richard Garcia asked Viens what happened the night of Oct. 18, the last time his wife was seen.
“For some reason I just got violent,” Viens said, according to an interview played for a Los Angeles jury Tuesday.
