“You only have to look at that hand thing Jay Z does, or Lindsay Lohan’s tattoos, or the Guardian’s articles on quinoa to know that everyone is part of the great conspiracy” of the Illuminati, according to the firmly tongue-in-cheek PassNotes at The Guardian:

Name: The Illuminati.
Appearance: A pyramid with an eye on it, a hand signal, a tattoo on a rapper’s back, a giant lizard dressed as the Queen. Take your pick.
Really? Are we still pretending that the Illuminati is a thing? Of course it’s a thing. Haven’t you seen the signs? Haven’t you read Dan Brown? Haven’t you heard We Do, the Stonecutters’ Song, from that episode of The Simpsons?
You’re referencing works of fiction here. It’s fact. He might look like a simpering, polo-necked millionaire, but Brown exposed the real truth about the Illuminati.
Which is? It’s a shadowy conspiracy that has existed since the dawn of time, secretly pulling the strings of every major organisation in the world.

Paul Walker conspiracy theories are attempting to link Family Guy’s Brian the dog, Illuminati, and drug cartels in an awkward way of explaining the death of the Fast & Furious 7 star.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the death of Brian the dog led to conspiracy theories stating Seth MacFarlane might try and quit Family Guy.
One story going around has Paul Walker being killed by the Illuminati, a group that supposedly controls the world from the shadows. Why would they do this? Like many celebs, including Tim Tebow, Walker had been working with typhoon relief efforts in the Philippines. Supposedly the Illuminati was trying to poison medicine going to the country with “birth control” that would neuter the population and Walker found out about it.
Is the Kardashians’ official 2013 Christmas card a playful satire of conspiracy theories regarding Illuminati-celebrity connections, or is something more sinister afoot? Infowars is disturbed:
Shot by elite fashion photographer David Lachapelle, the panoramic card is filled with symbolism and references describing everything that the Illuminati entertainment industry is about.
Behind the Jenner sisters are two Illuminati pyramids, complete with the All-Seeing Eye. The card can’t be clearer about who “owns” this entire family. Scattered around the card are dismembered mannequins, a symbol that is often used to represent Mind Control, a practice that is rampant in the Illuminati entertainment industry.
Kylie wears a vulva-shaped headdress making her look like some kind of high priestess. Above them is a cardboard cutout looking like a baby-Jesus, with a glory around its head. Is that North West?

We’re approaching the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, an event that wrenched this nation and spawned countless conspiracy theories. Was Kennedy killed by the Cubans? The CIA? The Mafia? The military-industrial complex? Time to spread your blanket on a grassy knoll and examine these 10 conspiracy theories:
- Some Pakistanis doubt the story of Malala Yousafzai, the teenager who received worldwide support after she was shot and wounded by the Taliban for promoting the education of girls. Suspicion that she is a CIA plant or a greedy hoaxer is so common in Pakistan that a journalist there ridiculed doubters with a satirical piece revealing that Malala’s “real name was Jane” and that the DNA in her earwax showed that she was “probably from Poland.” But other media outlets missed the joke, citing the report as yet more evidence of the Malala plot.
Who really controls the world? Dark5 presents the real history of 5 secret organizations thought to control global affairs.
Have these secret societies really infiltrated the upper echelons of government and business to install a new world order? Watch to discover the true facts and alleged conspiracy theories behind the Freemasons, Knights Templar, Illuminati, Bilderberg Group and Opus Dei.
Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars is a classic text of the conspiracy theorist subculture: A document that lays out step-by-step a plan to conquer the world through propaganda, currency devaluation, economic shock and constant warfare, among other things. It was supposedly recovered from a surplus copy machine by a Boeing Aircraft employee, and while it was initially reprinted in William Cooper’s Behold a Pale Horse, no one is sure who wrote it (although many seem certain that it is former Federal prisoner Hartford van Dyke). In the thirty-plus years since the document was discovered, researchers have attributed it to satanists, the Illuminati, the Bilderberg Group, the New World Order and other secretive organizations. Undoubtedly, its mysterious origin adds to its sinister appeal.
[Disinfo ed.'s note: The following is an excerpt from Jesse Walker's new book, The United States of Paranoia: A Conspiracy Theory. The excerpt is part of the chapter "Operation Mindfuck" and focuses on the role of the Discordian Pope, Robert Anton Wilson.]
[Robert Anton] Wilson laid out the basic instructions for Operation Mindfuck in a memo sent to several friends (including [Paul] Krassner). Participants were “to circulate all rumors contributed by other members,” and they were “to attribute all national calamities, assassinations or conspiracies to the other member-groups.” The one great risk, he cautioned, was that “the Establishment might be paranoid enough to believe some wild legend started by one of us and thereupon round up all of us for killing Abraham Lincoln.”
So they sent a letter on Bavarian Illuminati stationery to the Christian Anti-Communist Crusade, just to confirm that “we’ve taken over the Rock Music business.… Read the rest
Conspiracy theorists are dreadfully thorough, but I guess most of them missed this one: Donald in Mathmagic Land, the 1959 Disney featurette starring Donald Duck which teaches us about the Pythagorean cult, the pentagram, the Fibonacci Sequence, and the Golden Ratio.
As is the case with most men of influence, Walt Disney has been identified as a member of the Illuminati (or at least a pawn) by more than one conspiracy buff. Accusations have included pedophilia, child sexual programming, occult slavery, Freemasonry ties, blah blah blah. Pretty much, the usual. An interesting list of some of the weirder points appears in an earlier Disinfo article by 5by5.
One recurring accusation is that the Disney films and cartoons are riddled with subliminal messages of a sexual nature. Most likely, you’ve heard of them before. A dust cloud in The Lion King spells out the word, “sex.” A phallus shows up on the cover of The Little Mermaid. Aladdin says, “Teenagers take off your clothes.” The list goes on a bit.… Read the rest
