Is domestic extremism a bigger threat than terrorism?

Some claim false flag event for whatever fever pitched purpose that fits snugly into whatever conspiracy “theory” flavor of the day/week/month/year. I won’t even go there, from my perspective that line of thinking for these events is a distraction and like a mental pacifier for people who do not want to admit that the universe is rudderless. I hate to burst bubbles, but random bad stuff does indeed happen sometimes. Others blame mental health, but in reality those with mental health issues are more likely to be a victim.

Often it’s the police doing the victimizing, but that is a whole other article. Many blame guns in some sort of odd anthropomorphizing mental gymnastics. There may be some truth that, but where there’s a will there’s a way. Perhaps we should be talking about anti-government groups/right-wing extremists and their online revisionist propaganda. The recent spree killer did claim he got his inspiration from online racist indoctrination.… Read the rest

History teacher Dan Falcone and English teacher Saul Isaacson spoke with Noam Chomsky in his Cambridge office on September 16, 2014, about education and indoctrination, the 1960s, the Powell memorandum, democracy, the creation of ISIS, the media and the way “capitalism” actually works in the United States.

Dan Falcone: We’re in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with Professor Noam Chomsky. I am Dan Falcone with Saul Isaacson, and this is actually the third time I’ve visited you. So I wanted to thank you for that. And since I am a teacher, I wanted to start off by continuing on the themes of democracy and education.

I have noticed students making very insightful and uplifting observations in the midst of chaos. For example, they noticed that support for Israel fell out of favor in certain mainstream circles, and that the recent police treatment of unarmed black teenagers in intensifying areas of violence is a crucial matter of concern.

The root cause of society’s ills is how we deal with education. Deep down we all know this, but for decades we have barely lifted a finger to address it. The main reason for this inaction is because most of us are ourselves products of this defective system. We have been programmed for obedience.

The degree of indoctrination that we are exposed to varies depending on the intensity of the totalitarian nature of the state. All centralized institutions indoctrinate. All centralized powers lack transparency. All centralized information is incontestable.

For example, after centuries of committing crimes against humanity and overseeing genocides across the globe, it was only just recently that it was officially recognized that the catholic church has been, for decades, systematically sexually abusing children:

“The Roman Catholic Church has ‘systematically’ protected predator priests, allowing ‘tens of thousands’ of children to be abused, a United Nations committee said Wednesday in a scathing report that cast the first shadow over Pope Francis’ honeymoon period as pontiff.”

Anyone who has even remotely done any research on this topic, or has been the unfortunate victim of such horrendous crimes would tell you that they did not need a UN report to tell them the truth, but that is the nature of centralized institutions.… Read the rest

The False Self

Rev. Chris Korda of the Church of Euthanasia writes:

You’ve all been conditioned, every one of you. You’ve all been conditioned. Okay. What was the first and most important thing that you’ve all been conditioned for? You’ve been conditioned for many things, but without this thing, you couldn’t be conditioned for anything else. It’s the thing that makes it possible for you to receive further conditioning. Somebody tell me what this thing is, it’s a word. I’ll give you a hint: it’s the first thing we all condition our pets for, for the same reason. What is this thing we condition our pets for? It is… Obedience. Yes. Obedience. We’re conditioned for obedience.

Who did this? Who did this to you? Who conditioned you for this? First? Your parents. Yes. Yes, your parents and then your teachers, principals if you had any spunk at all, and then… Your bosses, yes, your bosses.
