World’s Biggest Heavy Metal Band to Sell Sweaters this Christmas

metallicasweater-300x234Metallica, the world’s biggest and most successful heavy metal band of all time announced this week that for the upcoming holiday season they would be selling…ugly Christmas sweaters. Although they are not the first heavy metal band to market their own Christmas sweaters (Slayer was first, if you can imagine that) Metallica is offering two unique versions, the “Scary Sweater” as well as a “Master Sweater” both of which are designed with the Load era logo design. Heavy Metal Culture: Don Jamieson of That Metal Show

Heavy Metal, Don Jamieson, That Metal Show.Being a fan of heavy metal means being part of the heavy metal family. As a Metalhead for more than 30 years, I’ve heard this from many people in many different cities.

“Metal” comes in many varieties, including but not limited to classic metal, hair metal, doom metal, progressive metal, European metal, speed metal, black metal, and death metal.… Read the rest

Ever since we had the pleasure of performing with Lou at the 25th Anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at Madison Square Garden in October of 2009, we have been kicking around the idea of making a record together. Some of you astute Bay Area residents may have picked up news of recent Lou Reed sightings in the greater San Francisco area and we have indeed been working at our home studio at HQ on and off over the last few months.
