Neighbors used cell phones to film four LAPD officers brutally beating an African American college student who was handcuffed and lying on the ground, resulting in a concussion and broken facial bones. Ronald Weekley Jr. had been skateboarding in front of his family’s house, and a friend says that Weekley initially did not stop because he believed the officers were addressing a group of men standing nearby. He is now behind bars for resisting arrest, with the obvious question being, why would an arrest ever be made in the instance of someone skating in front of his or her home?
