Two Crashes and Bitchin’ Technology at Roswell

According to this story in the Huffington Post, there were actually two UFOs shot down near Roswell NM in 1947.

Curiously, the technology used to fly the UFOs (as described in the article) was contemporary with the technology used to shoot them down.

It would certainly be specular if the craft were extraterrestrial in origin. And it would be just as spectacular if the US Air Force employed 1980s-era weapons to disrupt 1980s-era flight technology in the 1940s.

Roswell ‘Really Happened’, CIA Agent Claims

A long-serving CIA agent has revealed a hidden file on the Roswell ‘UFO’ incident that was supposedly found at the site – and says, “It really happened.”

Speaking on the 65th anniversary of the Roswell incident, Chase Brandon, an agent who served 25 years with the agency, said that the information is concealed in a hidden vault within the agency’s Langley headquarters.

“It was in a vaulted area – there was one box that really caught my eye. It had one word on it: Roswell. I rummaged inside it, put the box on the shelf and said, ‘My God, it really happened’. It was not a weather balloon – it was what people first reported. It was a craft that did not come from this planet,” he stated.

For twenty-five years Brandon served in the Agency’s elite Clandestine Service as an undercover, covert operations officer carrying out foreign assignments involving international terrorism, counterinsurgency, global narcotics trafficking and weapons smuggling.

Roswell ‘Was Soviet Plot to Create U.S. Panic’

This is even stranger to me than the famous “it’s aliens!” conspiracy theory we all know and love. Thomas Harding writes in the Telegraph:

Devotees of science fiction have been convinced for decades that an alien spacecraft crashed in the desert of New Mexico – and that the American government covered up the recovery of extraterrestrial bodies. The so-called Roswell Incident of 1947 spawned conspiracy theories by the score.

But now, sadly for UFO spotters, a new book offers an entirely man-made — and some would say even more bizarre — explanation, featuring two of the greatest villains of 20th century history: the Soviet dictator Josef Stalin and the infamous Nazi “Angel of Death” Dr Joseph Mengele.

During a powerful storm in July, 1947, an object crashed near a rancher’s home in Roswell, New Mexico.

Roswell army air base initially said that a “flying disc” had come down, but hours later, as government scientists arrived in the area, it was stated instead that a weather balloon had crashed.

Rubber Fetus Ban Taken To Court

Rubber fetuses given out by pro-life students at high schools in Roswell, New Mexico were banned because they were “distracting the educational environment.” The want for the ban to be overturned has created a court case bringing to question where the first amendment lies in the situation. Matt Reynolds of OnPoint details:

The suspensions of seven pro-life students at two Roswell, N.M., high schools for distributing rubber fetuses have given birth to a lawsuit that takes the First Amendment protections for student speech into uncharted territory.

The students, who belong to a religious youth group called Relentless in Roswell, sued school officials last month, alleging their suspensions were unconstitutional. They were disciplined in February after they handed out hundreds of fetus dolls at Goddard and Roswell High Schools before classes.

The complaint describes the dolls as two inches in length and “the actual size and weight of a developing unborn child at 12 weeks’ gestation.” Attached to the dolls was a verse from the Bible: “For you formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb.
