Recently there have been a couple stories on Disinfo about Alex Jones. The comments got a little lively, and someone mentioned that we were talking too much about Mr. Jones. I myself, in the comments, mentioned how Alex Jones and Glen Beck seem to work both sides of an issue till they fan the flames into something they can use for profits and popularity.
Then this morning I stumbled across this video and thought a little equal time for the FOXies might be interesting. First it would show that we are not trying to pick on any one person. Second it just might illustrate the point that I made and show how we are actually dealing with two sides of the same coin, so to speak.
So I am posting this and posing the question: Are we being handled?
Let’s call it an unofficial poll of the Disinfonauts.
Are either side of these two right wing crews (FOX/Infowars) to be trusted?… Read the rest
No doubt this will be a very popular move amongst Hannity’s fan base. For the rest of us, it just confirms that Fox News Channel doesn’t have much to do with fair reporting of news, let alone approaching any semblance of balance. Michael Skolnik reports for GlobalGrind:

Yesterday, the Special Prosecutor in the George Zimmerman case released 149 jail house phone calls that Mr. Zimmerman made while being held on bail in April of this year in Seminole County Jail. Last night, GlobalGrind scoured through all of them, trying to decipher the coded language that George uses in his conversations with his family and close friends.
In call #30, from April 14th (3 days after being arrested), George is speaking to one his closest friends and confidantes, “Scott.” As reported by many of our colleagues in the press, including the Miami Herald this morning, George mentions to Scott that his attorney Mark O’Mara is aware of an attempted transfer of $37,000 from his PayPal account to Zimmerman’s wife’s personal account.

Don’t say I never gave you nothing. Guess who got her hot little hands on the Sean Hannity/Sarah Palin interview that hasn’t even happened yet? Don’t tell anyone, but back in the 80s I gave a lap dance to Stephen Hawking and as a reward for my sultry moves he offered me use of his time machine. Behold!
Sean Hannity: First of all I’d like to say that you are the second coming of Christ.
Sarah Palin: Oh gee thanks, it’s citizens like you that make me proud of this our land of freedom and bravery in the country we call the American States.
SH: If the Virgin Mary walked into this room and shat in the corner, it would not rival the profundity and pureness of your being. I would allow myself to be buried alive with your corpse, if my producer deemed it necessary…

Have you heard the good news? There is no global warming. Sean Hannity said so. On his Fox News show last night, Hannity covered a confrontation between a journalist and Al Gore at the Society of Environmental Journalist conference in Madison, WI. The journalist went after Gore over inconsistencies in his film “An Inconvenient Truth.” Never shy, Hannity, let loose with, “The debate’s over. There’s no global warming.”
A Britain High Court judge issued an opinion that Gore’s movie about global warming should come with a warning that it features “partisan political views” and numerous serious errors.
The case was brought by a British truck driver, Stewart Dimmock, who said the British government was “brainwashing” children by mandating that Gore’s movie be shown in schools.
Hannity’s pronouncement goes against the findings of almost every prominent climate scientist. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says that global warning is a major threat the planet and that only strong policies that move us away from carbon based economy will keep global temperature rise below dangerous levels.
