A Living Gnome Has Been Spotted in Pennsylvania

Reminds me of the story I wrote in 8th grade about a gnome who set traps throughout a forest to cut people’s feet off.

On Thursday, August 21, 2014, the following email was sent to Earthfiles with images taken by a Bolymedia hunting camera sensitive to heat and movement. The sender, Keith Sniadach (SNY-dack) from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, gave me permission to reprint his email and images.

I’m writing to ask if you have had any reports come in of any gnomes/trolls or any other mythological and/or cryptid forest creatures like a brownie in the northeast U.S. — particularly Western Pennsylvania.

The reason is because I have a cabin north of Pittsburgh in the mountains of Western Pennsylvania where I enjoy the summer months.

Face Of Jesus Appears On Stingray

120403093859_stingrayNew religious/internet icon Sad Stingray Jesus spotted in South Carolina. Via Charleston’s Post and Courier:

It’s not as famous as Grilled Cheesus or Nun Bun, but the image a James Island woman found Friday on the back of a dead cownose ray may be one day.

“I just kind of thought it looked like a bearded homeless man,” said Erica Scheldt, 24. “But when I posted pictures on Instagram, one of my friends was like, ‘That’s Jesus.’ And I was like, ‘Oh my God! You’re right!’”

Scheldt also pointed out that she is from Nashville, home of the famous Nun Bun, a cinnamon roll that bears a strong resemblance to Mother Teresa.

UFO Sighted In Scotland

Scotland. Known for medieval castles, highlands, islands, clans, kilts and one large lake where a legendary beastie, the Loch Ness Monster, allegedly resides.

But for decades, Scotland has also been home to another mystery yet to be resolved: UFOs.

The country that occupies the northernmost section of Great Britain has its share of UFO reports, including an unusual pear-shaped object reported recently by a motorist on the UK UFO Sightings website.

On the night of Jan. 2, in the East Kilbride area of Scotland, George King wrote: “I was sitting in my car, facing west, when I noticed two orange lights — one smaller than the other — flying low.
