To me the most personal creation is the most universal. Simply writing words is not enough. Books are a way culture preserves its history, but often times books used to control the ideas and politics of society; to restrict information. I seek to make books to liberate: that defy control, censorship and simple definition and depict life in its totality. I see my hand-made books as political reclamation of the natural world in its fecundity. I paint oil over acrylic over collage over anything I can find. I embellish the paintings with glass beads and organic material from the world around me literally putting the landscape and my DNA into the books. I have used dirt, coffee, hair, leafs, molasses, blood, urine, insects and anything I feel can give the book life from life. We are so used to having the synthetic and technological global culture define how we perceive ourselves, our bodies, our biology, and who we are, that when someone has a different point of view of the human experience and makes the commitment to put it in a book forever, it can be frightening and challenging yet very alive.

With the West in an endless struggle in the Middle East not just for resources but mindshare, we see the Coke bottle — the symbol of globalization and American commercialism — sitting there in the hot sand, the object of desire for, first of all, a hapless Gulf prince/camel jockey. Resonating with [the looming] immigration debate, we then have a Hispanic desperado evoking the desert as if the province of thirsty Mexicans looking north.

It’s funny but not-so-funny when you consider that what America has to offer is, in fact, a mirage. What the ad people realize I’m sure is that, after more than a decade in Iraq and Afghanistan, the idea of “quenching” — no matter how much you “put down” the Arabs and Islamists — couldn’t be more ironic.

Illuminati Symbolism In A Disney Cartoon Series

The new-ish Disney Channel animated children’s vehicle Gravity Falls appears to have been greatly influenced by a conspiracy buff, with Freemasonry and occult references hidden throughout, and even cyphered messages hidden in the theme song. Some see it as more sinister than fun. The same set of symbols – those of the ruling elite – are being permeated across popular culture. A blatant example is Disney’s new show Gravity Falls, a “quirky and endearing” cartoon about 12-year old twins spending summer with their Great Uncle Stan in Gravity Falls, Oregon.

Swastika Controversy in Germany: Are Any Symbols Beyond Redemption?

In what must be an extraordinary act of naivete (or likely extraordinary fatuousness), Russian singer Yevgeny Nikitin claims not to have known that his Swastika tattoo was in any way connected with the Nazi party or its Neo-Nazi brethren.

The row over Nikitin’s tattoos began when the singer was attached to star in a new production of Wagner’s “The Flying Dutchman” at Germany’s Bayreuth music festival. Nikitin claims that the now-infamous symbol holds spiritual, not political, significance for him. Nonetheless, the uproar over Nikitin’s swastika (along with his “Tyr” tattoos) forced him to withdraw from the prestigious festival.

The swastika does indeed have an ancient history (most date it back 3,000 years to ancient India), and versions of it have popped up here and there throughout the world. In the present, the symbol means only one thing to most people: Naziism. It’s hard to believe that any adult Westerner alive would be aware of the symbol’s ancient mythological past, yet have its more recent controversial usage escape them…

Glenn Beck Dons Freemasonic Patch During Broadcast (Video)

It was on his Friday, April 1, program, but it was no joke. Glenn Beck, who has announced he will leave Fox News, was blatantly wearing a masonic emblem over his grey sweater, quite a conspicuous clothing accessory.

Included in the imagery is a Mason’s compass, a skull, a scroll & pen, and what appears to be 1681, a possible reference to the year Freemason William Penn founded Philadelphia (later the first capital of the United States) and Pennsylvania. Why would Beck choose this apparel? Is it an obscure reference to colonial founders or a tip-off that his allegiances lie with the secret society-elites who have long wielded power?

Decoding Washington, DC’s Mysterious Advertising

I recently visited Washington, DC, to meet up with Robert Bauval, co-author of the next book that disinformation will be publishing, The Master Game: Unmasking The Secret Rulers Of The World. We went on a mini-tour of the city with Robert interpreting the symbology of many famous structures such as the Washington Monument and the House of the Temple. (We’ll be releasing some video footage that we shot there soon.)

We noticed another set of mysterious signs around the city, far more modern, that require an insider’s knowledge to understand them, and as luck would have it, Thomas Catan reports on them now for the Wall Street Journal:

This city is different; you just have to look at the side of a bus to see that.

Every day in the nation’s capital, commuters and visitors stare at ads in subway cars, on buses or on mobile billboards, unable to figure out what they mean.

Throughout the history of Western Civilization, libraries have been the repositories of nations’ accumulated knowledge and the epicenters of their culture. Central libraries, more than being big buildings containing books, are important landmarks designed with impressive architecture and filled with symbolic art. The Los Angeles Central Library is certainly no exception. An in-depth look at the art found at the Library is quite a revealing one: It describes the occult philosophy of those in power. We will look at the Central Library’s history and the hidden meaning of its architecture.

Built in 1926, the Central Library is an important landmark of downtown Los Angeles. It is the central piece of one of the largest publicly funded library systems in the world, the Los Angeles Public Library (LAPL). Most touristic pamphlets describe the building’s design to be inspired by ancient Egyptian and Mediterranean Revival architecture.
