Woman Arrested For Groping TSA Agent At Checkpoint

Not sure if this woman’s actions were intended as an interesting sociological experiment, a political statement, or just disorderly hooliganism. Anyway, she did a nice job of “flipping the script” as they say. Via NPR:

Authorities say a Colorado woman who allegedly groped a female Transportation Security Administration agent at Phoenix’s international airport is facing a felony count of sexual abuse.

Phoenix police say 61-year-old Yukari Mihamae is accused of grabbing the left breast of the unidentified TSA agent Thursday afternoon at an airport checkpoint.

TSA staff say Mihamae refused to be go through passenger screening and became argumentative before she squeezed and twisted the agent’s breast with both hands. Mihamae lives in Longmont, Colo., and is self-employed.

The TSA’s behavior detection officers are on the lookout for “anyone who displays arrogance or expresses contempt for the screening process.” Because scientific anti-terror detection techniques reveal that getting fresh about poor treatment by airport security indicates you are most likely a terrorist.

Seattle Restaurant Refuses Service To TSA Workers

120px-TSA-DHS How do you show your dissatisfaction with the action of TSA agents? Some people decide to “opt out” of the body scanners. Some wear nothing but a bathing suit. Others decide to refuse service to TSA workers who come into their resaurant. Via The Consumerist:

Fed up with what he views as crappy treatment from the TSA, the owner of a restaurant near Seattle-Tacoma International Airport has decided to put all TSA agents on his No-Eat List.

“We have posted signs on our doors basically saying that they aren’t allowed to come into our business,” one employee tells travel journalist Christopher Elliott. “We have the right to refuse service to anyone.”

She says that whenever a TSA agent attempts to dine at the restaurant, “we turn our backs and completely ignore them, and tell them to leave… Their kind aren’t welcomed in our establishment.”

The restaurant claims that 90% of its patrons are in agreement with their stance and that the local police have actually helped escort TSA workers off the premises.
