Is The NYPD’s “Protect and Serve” Policy A Thing Of The Past?

WeAreChange recently got the opportunity to meet and interview Joe Lozito, the selfless hero who put his life on the line to stop a serial killer. The story is only magnified when Joe finds out, that while being stabbed by the serial killer, the NYPD was standing by watching everything unfold from the safety of the conductors door. Currently in a legal suit, the NYPD and City of NY is arguing that the NYPD has NO duty to protect its own citizens.

If you want to learn more about Joe and be updated about his court case follow him on Twitter.

Obama Supporters Don’t Know Obama

On January 21, 2013 WeAreChange went to Washington DC for Barack Obama’s second Presidential Inauguration. While we were there we hosted a quiz show where we offered $100 to anyone who could correctly answer 3 out of 5 questions about the man they were there supporting. This was an opportunity for us to possibly educate some people on things his administration has done that they were most likely unaware of. Paul Volcker Escorted and Confronted by WeAreChange

At a gala for the NY Economics Club, Luke Rudkowski questioned Paul Volcker on his Bilderberg attendance and the Federal Reserve. In a previous video, Volcker acknowledged being a member of Bilderberg and the Trilateral Commission but stated that the Federal Reserve was “the most insidious” organization he’s been a member of. This time Luke had the opportunity to have a longer conversation with Volcker since he was lost at the event and couldn’t find where he was supposed to be, so we had the interview as we helped him navigate around the hotel. As it turns out, the place we were helping Volcker find ended up being the room that Ben Bernanke was in waiting to have his picture taken, which is where Luke confronted him. Although Volcker was most likely not too pleased to have been confronted with the questions Luke asked him, he at least talked to us and didn’t immediately call security as Bernanke did.
